News | Children and Youth Want to have your say? Young people’s Creative Ireland workshops take place this September

Aged 13-18 years and have an opinion on the arts? Then Draíocht Blanchardstown is the place to share it on 2 September.

The ideal way for young creative people to get their voices heard when it comes to the arts, on Saturday 2 September Draíocht Blanchardstown is the place to be as the Dublin arts centre collaborates with Creative Ireland on a selection of free Your Say, Your Way workshops.

Completely free of charge and with a free lunch provided, young people aged 13-18 years are invited to take part in one of four exciting workshops: Spoken Word, Stop Motion, Dance and Comic Book Creation. The workshops will be stirring up imaginations from 10.30am - 4.30pm.

The workshops are the perfect opportunity for young people to share their thoughts on the arts and on how they’d like their own local community to benefit from a creative boost.

With the Creative Ireland Programme promoting individual, community and national well-being by enabling creativity for every citizen, the workshops are the perfect opportunity for young people to share their thoughts on the arts and on how they’d like their own local community to benefit from a creative boost.

Fun and free, you can apply for the workshop of your choice by filling in and returning a participation form by 30 August. All you need to bring on the day is an open mind and your own, unique opinion.

Closing date for applications, 30 August 2017
