Cruinniú na nÓg spreads youthful creativity nationwide this June
This vivid celebration of our youths’ cultural and creative participation offers kids up to age 18 the chance to experience creative activities in their local area.
The programme’s wealth of free, local and activity-based events aim to encourage children and young people to get hands-on in real ‘making’, ‘doing’ and ‘creating’!
Just some of the Cruinniú na nÓg craic taking place across County Galway includes theatrical workshops, exciting plays, puppet storytelling as well as futuristic fun with virtual/augmented reality-based experiments.
There’s child-friendly opera, gallery tours, film screenings, family singing/choreography workshops and readings of specially-commissioned writing in Cork City. Or enjoy exciting street entertainment, circus mayhem, kid-friendly Shakespeare and more in County Tipperary.
Storytelling, photography exhibitions, art, sewing, Lego, astronomy and yoga workshops await the energetic youth of County Offaly.
Looking for some fun in the capital? Magic shows, local history talks, CoderDojo, art and story sessions and music performances by talented young people are among the many lively activities taking place across Dublin City and county.
With such a diverse spread of performances, coding, theatre, art and music workshops, readings, screenings, special events and much more, all you need to do is check out Cruinniú na nÓg and prepare to share ideas, learn new skills and simply have fun.
