The Creative Ireland programme focuses on the themes of identity, culture and citizenship and Limerick’s part in the initiative’s five-year journey begins with its plans for 2017.
From enhancing existing projects like the Artist in Schools Programme, Africa Day and the Limerick Travelling Pop-Up Museum, to concerted initiatives that place culture and creativity at the heart of communities like Fleadh by the Feale, a festival of traditional music, dance and storytelling, or The Hunt Museum’s Symposium on Jack B Yeats and Paul Henry; the whole county will benefit from Limerick’s growth in cultural and creative capital.
